Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia
    http://www.orchidspecies.com/
An orchid species listing that has a tremendous amount of information.  Jay Pfahl has put together a most
helpful guide to orchid species from around the world.  A host of photos from the orchid community
helps with  identification, and compliments the descriptions given of the plants.  A must for any orchid grower.

 The Orchid Mall
     http://www.orchidmall.com/
This is a very good reference vehicle for locating orchid nursery websites world-wide.  One click will take you to any
site you choose.  They also have lists for orchid photograph sites, and a nice collection of orchid articles.

American Orchid Society
    http://orchidweb.org/aos/
A good source of information about what is going on in the orchid world, listing of judging centers, and a
calendar of orchid-related events for the next year.  It is also a good place to find orchid culture sheets for many genera.

 Bella Online
    http://www.bellaonline.com/site/Orchids
Susan Taylor writes many interesting articles on orchids subjects, and has many orchid tips to share.

Native Orchids of the United States
    http://www.orchids.org/ooc/na_orchids/us_orchids_java.shtml
Native orchid enthusiasts will be very interested in this helpful website dedicated to the indigenous species in
the United States.  Click on a State on their map, and it will give you information about the native plants for
 that area.

 Lotte & Thomas Orchids
     http://www.orchideenvermehrung.at/english/index.htm
For those who have a little of the experimenter in their blood, this website touches on ways of growing and
propagating orchids outside the normal practices.

 Meyers Conservatory
      http://www.troymeyers.com/
If you have an interest in trying your hand at species orchids, Troy offers flasks and established seedlings to the
public, and will offer a free flask if you provide seeds.  Very good propagator.

Forums

The Orchid Source Forum
http://forum.theorchidsource.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi
The Orchid Source Forum is a big favorite of mine.  Flaming and bashing are not allowed, and the members are some of the most knowledgeable and friendly of any orchid growers on the web.  There is no fee, but donations are encouraged, to keep this valuable resource available.

Terrestrial Orchid Forum
http://www.terrorchid.org
This is a good venue to learn about nearly any terrestrial orchid you want to know about.  It has been a great help to me in my search to become a better terrestrial grower.  Members from all over the world participate in discussions on the orchid plants they grow.

AOS Forum
http://www.orchidweb.org/aos/MessageBoard
The official AOS forum.  It has been changed, along with the rest of the AOS website, hopefully for the better.  They are trying to address the problems that drove me and a lot of members to other forums on the net.  Give them a try.

Orchid Guide Digest
http://www.orchidguide.com/findex.htm
The old Orchid List Digest has been revamped into the Orchid Guide Digest.  Many of the top growers and large nurseries use this forum to discuss the newest happenings in the Orchid World.  Sometimes the discussions can get pretty heated as giant egos clash, but there is a lot of good information to be gleaned from these pages.
